Barbara Wilkinson, MA, is the founder and president of Westcoast Vocational. She brings a wealth of expertise to her diverse client base, ranging from individuals seeking to maximize their career potential; to organizations assisting staff and their families with workplace trauma; to law firms requiring expert testimony in cases where vocational potential is in question.

Ms. Wilkinson has over 16 years of practical experience, providing career solutions to thousands of youth and adults in individual and group settings. Underlying each engagement is a strong philosophy of taking control of one's own life direction. She applies this philosophy to such areas as career choice, career transition, vocational assessment, self-marketing and job search strategies.

Ms. Wilkinson has developed and facilitated numerous training seminars in vocational exploration and career management. She provides effective, timely interventions in situations involving work-related stress, acquired injury and chronic illness.

Ms. Wilkinson’s experience is complemented by a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and several industry-recognized certifications, providing clients with assurance of her ability to confidently address a wide array of personal and professional issues. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP), and Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC), she diligently adheres to ethical standards governing her profession.

Ms. Wilkinson has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the legal community, providing vocational assessment and expert testimony in a variety of litigation scenarios.
